Unfortunately this peace was ended by a supernatural being named Asoroth. Together with his Phoenix Knights, Asoroth created a world of fear and hopelessness. To defeat Asoroth, five wizards created the magical Crystals of Fate. The crystals have the power to alter reality, and their power is only as great as the imagination of the one who wields them. With the Crystals, the wizards managed to seal Asoroth away. Since the power of the crystals was so great, after the battle the crystals were then scattered around the world so that they would never fall into evil hands. Three thousand years pass and the Crystals of Fate pass out of all human knowledge, until one powerful wizard named Golbez learns of the crystals secrets. It is Golbezs ultimate goal to use the crystals to regain a precious treasure that was stolen from him. Now he searches the world using any means necessary to obtain the crystals absolute power. A warrior, a masked vigilante, a prince, a wizard, and a priestess join together in their shared determination to stop Golbez from gaining the crystals. Unfortunately for them, Golbez is manipulating a whole country and has command over its entire army. The wizard also controls many supernatural creatures who obey his every command. The heroes must journey to different lands and fight countless battles to protect the crystals from falling into Golbezs hands. They must also struggle against their own distrust of one another, and their own individual inner demons. If the heroes can win the battles, both outside and inside themselves, they just may have a chance of stopping the wizard from fulfilling his dark ambition.
